Why has the HTC media hub been giving me problems since the Lollipop update?

Since updating to lollipop my phone doesn't work properly with my HTC media hub,it connects to it but the frame rate is terrible but my biggest problem is that when i want to carry on watching a movie with it and use the phone at the same time i can't as whatever is on the phone screen comes up on my tv screen. eg, if watching a movie and then need to browse the net the movie goes off and the net will show on the screen,it was perfect before the update,could watch a movie and use the phone at the same time,any help would be much appreciated,thanks for your time

Ok then,I've been on the phone to htc and they said it's Google's fault and there should be a update within five days,I'll let you know

I was beginning to think it was just me. Lollipop has completely ruined my use of the media link. I checked for media link updates but nothing. Fingers crossed an update shows up after the 5 days. Thanks for finding that out and sharing.
