HTC One XL Battery Charge Time

Hi there,

I recently purchased an HTC One XL and I've found that the battery takes an unusually long time to charge (both USB and when plugged into a socket).

Is this normal or could there be something wrong with my battery?

USB is naturally going to be slower, since it puts out lower voltage. How long does yours take to charge? For me, 3 hours from 0 to full.

It takes about one and a half to two hours from 7% battery. That's using wall charger.

I don't know, but mine is the same. I use the same charger for my old DesireHD and it charges in half the time. I've just posted a question about the One XL as I hadn't read your post but there is never any mention of this model, only the One, One X, V, S, + etc.

One XL can even even take 7 hours charging from the wall, Imagine at some point you are charging but instead the battery is discharging (more power loss than power input?). This happens because of the battery getting too hot or many apps running at a go they claim. i have used heavier apps on other phones (Lumia, Morzat 7, Duos, BB 9320 ) but they have never discharged while charging!
