I have an HTC One, why is it when I make calls, I can hear them but they can't hear me?

I have an htc one. When I make calls, I can hear them but they can't hear me

When I make any call or receive a call I here the person but they don't here me but if I turn my speaker on they can here me I don't no what is going on

Welcome to Android Central! Your phone mic is probably faulty, since the speakerphone uses a different mic. Can they also hear you when you're on a headset (either wired or Bluetooth)?

You'll probably have to contact HTC (if you're still under warranty), or bring it to a repair shop.
