Polar H7 and the like...

Has anyone bought a heart rate monitor and successfully paired it with their HTC One? I can't find any solid answers but it seems like the Polar H7 and Zephyr HRMs are compatible using Bluetooth 4.0. It would be nice to hear from a user before shelling out the cash for one of these.

Side question, could I run a BT heart rate monitor while using BT earbuds?

According to a friend the manufacturer has to xode to HTC's bluetooth implementation since it is not provided by Android yet and most do not. I believe he returned his One due to lack of compatibility with a Polar monitor.

This app uses Samsung and HTC specific BLE libraries so it is only compatible with the following Android devices: Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One, HTC DNA, and HTC One X+. It should be compatible with any Samsung device running Android 4.2 and above and with any HTC device running Android 4.1 and above.

I hope it also works with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

Or wait for Android 4.3

Hi i have htc one and polar h7 ! It work fine with runtastic app ( unfortunately doesn't work with Endomondo )
