Keyboard Question

Did a search but couldn't find anything. I'm looking to decrease the delay in the keyboard to get to the alternate characters, i.e. holding k for 2 seconds will get to the '?'

Is there a setting somewhere that can decrease that delay? Thanks.

There are other keyboards that might allow you to do this, but something like AI type already has an extra row for numbers

Best shout is to play around with other keyboard apps. There's plenty of good ones out there. I use Swiftkey myself. Just try and find one that suits your style a bit better.

Stock keyboard doesn't allow you to do that.

Try the Google Keyboard. In advanced settings it allows you to adjust the long-press delay. Google Keyboard is the best keyboard I've come across so far and it's free.
