Why can't I play music through bluetooth or usb cable on my Volvo S40?

I cant play music through bluetooth or usb cable in my Volvo S40, but i can call.

Hello Iv got a ne Huawei P8
Iv tried everything even different formats of the files (music) as i thought this was the problem. My Samsung worked 100percent, im really upset now iv tried everything Aux Cable but then says nothing is connected. I think its the phone or how i go about trying to play the music.

If there is any possible help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Android Central! What model year is the S40? Is the car's stereo system the factory installed one, or aftermarket? Are you able to pair the phone successfully via Bluetooth? If so, go to Settings>Bluetooth, select the car system, and see if there is a Media Audio option. Make sure that's checked on. If there is no Media Audio option, then the phone can't connect to play music--this could a compatibility issue with either the phone or with the car stereo.
