Just got the Huawei Watch. Connected to a Note 5. Everything is working fine, except when I want to use Google Now to set a timer or any other request, I get a message that it is disconnected. This occurs when the watch is definitely connected.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Yup. It does that. Maybe a bug, but make sure your phone is connected to the internet as well.

I found the problem happens when my phone is locked. If I unlock the phone and try again, everything works. It's very annoying because the whole point is to keep your phone in your pocket / not having to fiddle around with the phone when you do something with the watch.

I had this issue with my Moto 360, it happened after I updated to Marshmallow on my phone (Moto X 2014).

In the end I worked out it was Doze messing with connectivity, after I disabled it I rebooted my watch and phone and "Ok Google" started working again.
