New member hello

I just bought an android tablet, a LePan 2, and it has me searching out new apps and I thought I could get some good info on the android system here, so here I am and a warm hello to all. I am also the owner of a 1st generation smart phone. A G1 which I am thinking about putting Froyo on. Can any of you tell me whether this is a worthwhile exercise or is there more risk than reward? I am having trouble with my phone constantly rebooting for no apparent reason and thought the updated Froyo might bring new life to an old phone. Any comments appreciated.

Most often a wipe will solve issues, then load apps slowly to identify rouge apps (though the comic character is bad ssa.) I don't have good knowledge on those devices, but hit up the forums. Good luck, and welcome.
