messaging on LG G Flex. new to this phone.

How do i change the font size in the messaging app? Other android phones I've had, you use the volume keys to change the font size, but its not working on this one and I don't see an option for that yet. Can anyone help with this?

Welcome to Android Central! I think the volume button text size adjustment feature is specific to Samsung devices. Not all Android devices have this feature. You would probably have to go to Settings>Display>Font Size and adjust it there.

Thank you. Another question... hpw do you get the big digital clock off of the lock screen? Is there a way to do that?

What version of Android is it running? If it's KitKat, then see what happens if you long press the clock on the lockscreen. Are you able to move it? Does the word Remove appear at the top of the screen?

The version is 4.2.2 and remove does appear at the top, but when i move the clock up to the remove, it will remove it and tell me to add a widget. I don't want a widget on the lock screen, so when i don't pick one the clock reappears after relocking to see if it's still there. If that makes any sense

Try adding Blank Widget.
