Why my Lg g2 screen off in dark room /area?

I have lg g2 verision, in the presence of light i can use my mobile but when i switche of room lights so my mob screen on for 1 to 2 second and then get off. Please advise any soulton.

Is the automatic screen off set on? It should tell you how many seconds will turn off the screen.

If automatic screen brightness is enabled, it may get too dim with no room light at all.. Try Velis Auto Brightness instead. You can set the curve, so if you want some screen brightness in a totally dark room, you can turn the minimum up a bit.
