This is a highly subjective question you're asking. The case I have is the Spigen Slim Armor in gunmetal color and I like it! Will you like it?? Not sure. Will others like it? Depends on what they need and/or like. See where I'm going? Just go to the cases thread and look through what is there and try to find the case that you like and best fits your needs.

Supcase from Amazon, $10. Slim transparent back, the edges by the screen are flat. I likes this the most.

I've been using a Cruzerlite case on my GS3 and really like it so I ordered one for the G3 I'm going to be getting.

I've been a big Otterbox fan, but too bulky and too many broken holsters and warped rubber corners

I ordered this last week and it probably won't arrive until next week, but I've always wanted a Tech21 case. I can let you know what I think once it arrives. I'm sure it'll be too big as I hate cases, but the protection should be the best in this class.

I tried the Incipio Dual Pro since I had that for my G2. It really added too much in size to the phone and harder to hold comfortably.
I like belt clips so was going to order the Seidio, but remembered Best Buy has their Platinum series cases which are exactly the same,
but for less money. So I bought the Platinum Series Black case for the G3 w/belt clip for $39.99 ($54.99 from Seidio).
The case is much slimmer and holds very securely in the belt clip. I wish there was no kickstand, but its not really in the way.

Otterbox Symmetry. It's slim. Offers full protection. And looks great on the phone.

I have the Spigen Ultra Fit in white to match my G3. Looks great and does not add bulk to the phone.
