Anyone "Edge Up" through My Verizon?

I'm currently out of the country but I'm looking to edge up to the LG G3 when I return home. I would really like to do the whole process online and just when I get home, TADA! My new shiny LG G3 will be waiting on me! But I've read on a few places that using edge online is a pain because it's so hard retuning your old phone!

Anyone from the forums have any personal experience? Thanks a lot!
