Okay... SHOULD I be able to disable it on Lollipop? I didn't use it prior to the update and was fine. However, after I factory reset and updated, when I disabled the data optimizer, I couldn't use the browser etc. Said it couldn't connect to the proxy server.
Now today the data optimizer just used up 16.5% of my battery, putting itself on the top of the list above Android system and kernel. It's back down now... But I'm curious... Do I HAVE to use it?
