Questions regarding refurbished LG G4

I know LG put out the press release, but do we know when they found out the problem was misdiagnosed? I'd love to know if my referb is going to go into boot loop or not. I've been shopping for a midrange back up, but have reservations about buying last year's phones given that it's January and I plan on moving on soon anyway.

I have a refurbished g4. I broke the screen on first one. This phone is great.
