The LG Joy...4 GB on internal, and 512 MB RAM. Now even though Android has become RAM and even battery friendly, in this day and age, even a low tier device, this seems quite low.

There are three things I would like to change.
1: Disable double tap enable the touch screen. I want the touch screen completely disabled so that the touch screen will not be enabled while in my pocket. Preferred is that the power button be the only way to enable the touch screen.
2: Disable screen blanking when in a call. The default is to blank every few seconds even while trying to use the DTMF. Preferred is that the power button be the only way to disable the touch screen.
3: Disable automatic volume reduction. I am unable to hear the other person at the preset volume level and to increase the volume beyond the preset requires going through an enabling script. Preferred is to remember the volume level from the previous use.
