I travel outside the country frequently, and as soon as I land, my phone asks me if I want to enable data roaming. I always say yes in order to access apps and functions while on whatever network the phone is using. But by doing this, I can't send text messages. Even after I turn off data roaming in settings, I still can't send text messages unless I restart the phone and choose no to enabling data roaming. The text messages work just fine, but I have to restart the phone again in order to re-turn on data roaming (again, the toggle in settings doesn't do it).
