My Phone is losing cellular network connection

Hi all,

I have the LG optimus G LG-E975 with Android 4.1.2. This week it started to lose network connection after some time being turned on. The only fix is to restart it and then it works always. So it sure seems to be a software issue and not a lose hardware connection or something.

What are my options? I read about deleting the cache but how can I do that on my phone? I can do a factory reset but before I do that how do i backup my configuration especially of email client and other apps?

4.4.2 is already out. Upgrade and see if that helps..

Got upgrade to 4.4.2. Issue still her or actually it's worse because know the connection icon implies I'm still connected when in fact I'm not. So I now have no clue if I am connected or not and have to call or send a message to myself to figure it out.
