My lg spectrum touch screen is frozen on lock screen. How can I unfreeze it?

My lg spectrum touch screen is frozen on lock screen.

My old verizon LG Spectrum phone is frozen on it's lock screen. The touch pad is not responding to the unlock swipe. I have tried thaking the battery out and nothing. I've tried turning it off and on several times..it just stayed on lock them goes black after 1-2 minutes. It is not the current phone I use..however their is information NOT on the SIM card I would like to retrieve before discarding the phone. Any help is appreciated..thank you

Welcome to Android Central! The screen's digitizer may have failed, since it isn't responding to touch at all. If the information on the phone is crucial, you'll need to bring the phone to a repair shop to get the screen replaced.
