Issues with keyboard

I just recently purchased two brand new LG Stylo 2 less than a month ago and they have been working fine up until today when mine started to not let me type anything. My touch screen functions properly and the calibration is fine but when I go to type something the keyboard does not pop up. How can I fix this?

clear the cache and data of the keyboards.
