Wow that is a beautiful shot

Now that's a beautiful sight.
Nope with manual controls you can control the ISO and shutter speed independently. The minimum is a lengthy 30 seconds. Of course depending on your ISO and shutter speed settings and how much light is available will determine what kind of shot you get. What is minimum shutter speed for v10? Does it need the right iso to get minimum shutter speed?
Thanks. Yes. For night time photography unless it is complete darkness like maybe the sky almost any light source will be overexposed the longer you keep the shutter open. Doing trail lights of cars with exposures over 4-8 seconds you will need an nd8 filter. I use that to contain the highlights while doing my shots. With an nd8 filter you can easily shoot 30 second exposures and capture some really great images. If you go back further in this thread I show the difference between nd8 filter and no filter with the same settings. And keep the ISO between 50-150 for extra long exposures too.Are you using filter for night photography? I really like with your photo especially long exposure. Can you share more photo and the picture detail like iso, shutter speed, etc
Here's an instance where I didn't use an nd filter because the light source is not coming directly at the sensor and is in the background. I just took this tonight. ISO 50 and a shutter speed of 30 seconds. The first one is the JPEG straight out of the camera. The second pic is the RAW image with a few edits in Lightroom Mobile. Are you using filter for night photography? I really like with your photo especially long exposure. Are you simply holding the filter in front of the lens, or attaching it to the lens somehow to block light from the side? Thanks. Yes. They do sell filter clipons where you can screw the filter directly into it but I usually just get a rubber band and that holds the filter into place. Works just fine. You just have to make sure the rubber band is not in the shot. Are you simply holding the filter in front of the lens, or attaching it to the lens somehow to block light from the side?
