Did you come here from WebOs? On WebOs the launcher is what Android refers to as the app drawer, If you are from WebOs then the Android referred launcher is equivalent to the quicklaunch bar on WebOs

Hey Jordan,are you rooted? check out the Bonsai rom for dk28 its extremely fast and glitch free and has a semi transparent topbar. its darker but still shows wallpaper through it.

I was on nebula (horsehead) previously and was very good. This seems smoother (maybe placebo). This just works, Good work!

So for #6 if I wish to keep my kernel and I install a rom w/ kernel ill need to reinstall my kernel after I flash the new rom? Correct. Also I have installed the translucent notifications via clockworkMod. How do I uninstall a zip add on?

First let me say I'm a noob to Android but i'm not new to hacking. Ive been on the WebOs forums for a year and a half and created many patches. I know Android is similar but also very different. There are quite a bit of differences. The Terminology in particular. I'm hoping some of you gurus...

any way to get the am launcher w/o using this rom? Im using the gingerbread launcher, it works well but the video of the am launcher is much smoother and the effects at the bottom look much better.

Kind of a noob here to android, Im an expert at WebOs lol. If I use rom manager to backup my current rom does it include apps? and data from apps? not really concerned about contacts and the like as i use gmail for those. Just dont want to loose data from angrybirds and others.

Go to BB they will match the RS price. Thats what i did because I hate RS. Walked out for 179.00 + Ga. Tax. 189.00 ish.

I went into BB and told them RS had it for 179.00 and they matched it no Problems. Bought it saturday and was rooted by 10:00pm
