I was never able to install 2.3.4, even after clearing the caches as recommended. I guess a factory reset is the next step---if someone can tell me how to do one.

Haven't tried a battery pull but a powering off didn't do help. Frankly, if I have to do a factory resent to install an update with limited new features, I'm not sure it's worth the hassle of restoring everything.

It's a great value, especially when you consider the fact that you can expand the storage cheaply and easily, or swap storage in and out if that's your preference. Battery life is excellent, it's fast and responsive, and I'm very happy with the apps, including those not optimized for Honeycomb...

All things considered, you want a power button that is flush or recessed a bit so you don't accidentally turn your device on/off. I agree---if it works fine I wouldn't fret about it.

Saw this link on Android Guys. Charge Your Phone and Tablet in the Car. Here's the Amazon Link. From the tiny print on my TF power brick it looks like it generates 2.1A, so this should work.

As I've posted before, I've been very pleased with using the web version of FB on Dolphin for Pad and I'm reasonably sure it works better on any Honeycomb browser than tbe FB app. I just don't see the need for the app now. YMMV.

I use the regular web version in the Dolphin for Tab browser. Works beautifully. I'm not sure I see any reason for a FB app.

I do the same thing, but when I copied some movies from my PC to my TF, it was sloooow. Routine file transfers are much more practical.

I highly recommend Swiftkey X. I have it on my TF and Dinc2 after using it for a year+ on my Droid. It will cost you a few dollars, but is worth it.

You can buy a 12v DC-120v AC inverter for your car to charge your TF on the road. You can get one almost anywhere for $10-15.

Let me plug the Seidio Surface case. $30, plus shipping, but Seidio runs sales that effectively means the product ships for free. I had one on my Droid and now have one on my Dinc2, as does my wife on her Dinc2.
