Phone call volumes seems to be really low after OTA JB update. Even with volume maxed, it is about half as loud as before. I tried wiping cache but that does not seem to have helped. Suggestions?

You don't specifiy in your question but if you are on exchange then contacts should sync, if not and you are using Outlook to get Gmail, POP mail, etc. There is no way for the contacts to sync from outlook. They would need to sync using Gmail if that is the case.

I user touchdown for exchange mail. I find it is quite comparable to Outlook. Moxier mail is another good choice for exchange users. The standard mail app is pretty basic.

Rooting the Razr and Maxx is easy. No custom roms yet however but rooting to restore apps is a definite yes.

Sometimes you have a run the licensing app first. For instance with Touchdown, there is a touchdown app and a TD licensing app. Yuo can restore both but you have to run the license app once to license the actual app.

I agree icu. I initially was disappointed that ccampos has discontinued development on this rom but that is also a testiment to how great it is.

With multiple symptoms you may want to try starting from scratch and flashing it all again, including wiping data.

I would try an older version of his kernel. You can download off his page on XDA. Another good kernel is TKSGB. Could also be a permissions issue. Try fixing permissions first using CWM. (Mount /data first)
