If it's on the T-mobile network, prepare for the same issues this phone has had with that network in general. Take that into consideration as well.

Maybe. Either way, $150 is a lot for a DAC that can only be used on this model phone. It'd be different if it connected via non-proprietary methods.

I'm probably going to wait on this, supply not withstanding. I don't have a burning need and it may go the way of the camera, being a fraction of the original price before too long.

Yeah, the available Essential USB audio adapter is just that, an adapter. It has no DAC functionality. The Razer one looks interesting...I'll wait to see the cost of the Essential DAC accessory first.

Did Essential every release the headphone DAC that goes on the accessory port as pictured partway down this page? -https://www.essential.com/audio I can't seem to find any more about it...I guess they killed it when sales were poor.

I got the camera as well and nice for what it is but the quality is only mediocre but for most people, this is sufficient. Are there any apps on the PC to view these in 360 mode? i did a search and found a browser plug-in but it doesn't seem to work. Most apps are for specific hardware/file...

Hmmm...maybe you are at work where dropbox is blocked (my work blocks a ton of sites)? It's also possible you need a Dropbox account. They changed things up a while back and making files public is different than it used to be.

I opened them in browser tabs and just clicked back and forth. You should be able to right-click and download the image on pc. I only really did it out of curiosity and so others could see. Again, I don't have any complaints. If I paid $1000 for it, I'd be a little unhappy. I do some...

Every time I plug into the PC, I need to go to the "Use USB for" settings and change it from "no Data Transfer" to "File Transfer"...is there a way to default this to file transfer? If I plug into the PC, I'm moving files, not for charging.
