    Cancelling scheduled update?

Just to quickly add on to, and I guess end this thread want to say that my phone did, in fact, update against my wishes. Even after turning off both WiFi and mobile data. So, I guess that the answer to my original question is (at least sometimes), no, there's no way to cancel a scheduled update...

    Cancelling scheduled update?

That screen looks similar to mine, except for no "auto download" option. Is that the problem? If so, any idea why it's not there for me? Because even on your screen, it looks like that's the only thing that can be toggled off.

    Cancelling scheduled update?

Oh, sorry. It's a Samsung Galaxy A32. I go to Software update in Settings, and the only option seems to be "download and install." There's no "kill" (or at least delay) button?

    Cancelling scheduled update?

Quite simply, I currently have a software update scheduled for later this week and I rather avoid it for now. Is there any way to cancel this update? Thank you.

Update Unfavorited All of my Favorited Images Again~

A month later, just wanted to follow up on this quickly. What Samsung offered to do is have me actually send in my phone to them for repair. But this obviously makes it sound like a hardware issue. This seems very unlikely to me -- it sounds much more like some kind of software bug. Of course, I...

Update Unfavorited All of my Favorited Images Again~

Samsung Galaxy A32. Android version 13. "One UI version" of 5.1, whatever that means and if it helps. So it sounds like you also think that the problem is coming from the phone itself?

Update Unfavorited All of my Favorited Images Again~

This is unfortunately not the first time this has happened, but I never figured out the cause and now it has happened again. After a system update, my phone's Pictures app has once again essentially unfavorited all of the images I had marked as favorites. There were several listed in the...

    Phone Incapable of Fast Charging?

Think I'm just going to be returning the new charger, then! Oh well...

    Phone Incapable of Fast Charging?

And does the fact that you put that in quotes imply that you don't really agree with that assessment -- that 2:19 from 0% to 100% is fast? Because it sure doesn't seem fast to me. Again, not even nearly as fast as my old Moto G6.

    Phone Incapable of Fast Charging?

Okay, so the charger itself is definitely Samsung-brand. The exact name is "Samsung Super Fast Wall Charger with USB-C to USB-C cable." And then it says 25 Watt. I'm now guessing that that might be part of the problem if it's only up to 15 Watt. As for the cable, I'm just using the one in the...

    Phone Incapable of Fast Charging?

One of the things I like least about my relatively new (still within the first year) Galaxy A32 is what seems to me like a LONG charge time -- significantly longer than my old and supposedly inferior Moto G6. But I've always been using the standard charger than came with it, and figured I would...

    Intermittent but Recurring Connection Problems

Well, that's probably an understatement! But the question, I think, is what can be done about it. Anything? And, also, how much of it has to do with my phone. I actually never had this issue with my old MotoG, which was not exactly a top-tier phone.

    Intermittent but Recurring Connection Problems

Okay, it is, in fact, happening again, so this time I could do a much better job of describing it. Once again, as soon as I try to make a call, it says "Couldn't Connect." Furthermore, when I try to text, the message says "Unable to send this message. Your device is not connected to a mobile...

    Intermittent but Recurring Connection Problems

Interesting, thanks. I would think that that's something that someone at the T-Mobile store might be able to determine better than I, so that's something I could ask them if it comes to that.

    Intermittent but Recurring Connection Problems

Well, the only thing about that is that it often happens in the same location (my house), and then when I reboot, it's suddenly able to connect again. So it seems more like the phone suddenly "forgot" how to connect and rebooting reminds it. In other words, some kind of bug with the phone...
