Pretty sure that's a Sprint issue, not the phone. Sprint doesn't allow mobile data and voice at once..their network is outdated.

Actually in the same boat as I just got my own place and looking to cut costs where ever it makes sense to and with my Metro PCS unlimited lte data plan and me getting 60Mbps+ would lead me to use it to stream movies from my phone to my HDTV. Problem though is that I can't use the hotspot...
