Why is my Android Tablet turning itself on when charging?

Android Tablet Turning Itself on When Charging

I had my tablet at 15% battery so thought to charge it...i plugged it in the charger and it began to charge up and out of the blue my tablet turned it self on..and i dont know why it showed me the charging was 50%..it turned it off and again it turned on it happens every time and doesent charge, HELP ME my tablet is not working now!

Welcome.
What tablet do you have?
I know some where you have to plug in the charger and then turn it off to charge correctly. Don't know why.

Im the same guest yet i made my account here...
well you see the tablet brand im using is a national brand not international..
it has 4500 mah battery, is a android jellybean 4.2 has a 1GB ram and 16GB rom..
the real deal is that when i plug this tablet to a charger, the tablet opens up on the logo screen which you see when powering ur phone, after which the main screen pops up...from there the tablet shuts down and the cycle repeats :-$ this cycle doesent allow the tablet to charge properly and begins to heat up......so do u think its a system error or a battery problem.... should i replace the battery?
