Since my 360 updated last week to 5.0.1, the watch keeps telling me I need to install the Connect app on my Note 4.

Its been installed on the phone since I installed all my apps on the new phone and connects to the watch with no problems.

I've resynced all my apps through Android Wear a couple of times but it hasn't made any difference.

Not a major problem but annoying.

Try resetting the watch. And delete the connect app and the android wear. And re install.
Before you delete make sure you go to both apps and clear cache and data before deleting.
Then re install both and pair watch again.

It fixed some issues I was having before. Hope that helps.

Mine did that for a while too. If you swipe right to left on the watch when it shows that it will give you the option to not see that message again.
