a rep on Moto's chat just told me the sale is live and has been but the traffic has caused "some" people to not be able to order...she recommended I call their e commerce number for web sales..they closed at 7pm...she said the sale will end at midnight tonight...she never mentioned the sale continuing on any other day...I think this was a joke of a sale by Moto...the limited quantities thing was really limited...they probably wanted to stir up interest and talk about the X...get people wondering why so many people were trying to order...if there really were that many people trying to order that is

The Dev edition was available at the sale price for a while this afternoon before it sold out. No one was able to order a custom off contract phone at the sale price from Motomaker. They acknowledged this early and have been updating via tweets all day. The mMotomaker sale for off contract phones has been moved to noon et Wednesday and next Monday. Either you miss understood her or your rep had no idea what she was talking g about.

smh. i shop a LOT, and i've never seen anything as lame as today. lol. Then again, i'm now on day 12 or something, of trying to buy motocare insurance. lol. They have yet to be able to handle selling it to me.

wow, that's harsh. The Verizon dev ed was only available for 1 hour. So glad I stuck by my computer, but then again I have a desk job so I could do it.

To be fair, from what I saw, they added more Verizon Developer Edition models today after they saw the demand plus Moto Maker being down.

yeah, a lot of people who wanted the customized phones and didn't care about unlocking the bootloader probably opted for the dev eds simply because they were available for sale at the discounted price.

That sale was a joke. I went to motomaker and created an account and a phone. I saved my phone and when I tried to get it yesterday it was not there. I made a new phone and it was trying to charge me 499.00. They are full of crap.
