Default Motorola officially recognized as Lenovo?

I normally power down my phone twice a week. Just now I had noticed that the main boot up screen doesn't say, "Motorola a Google Company" anymore.

It just says "Powered by Android" and a new animation video.

Could the transition from Google to Lenovo finally become official??

That's a change to the usage guidelines that will be rolling out massively to Android devices and won't be exclusive to Motorola.

Makes total sense. Thought it was BC of the new takeover.

Just powered off/on and still says "A Google Company" ...... Probably because I haven't updated the boot loader app in play store.
