My father has the DROID 2 and it died on him today. It's been on it's last legs for some time now. My question is has Asurion switched over to the DROID 3's as replacements for claims on the DROID 2 yet? I know the D2 has been off the shelves for over a year 1/2 now. My Dad has the unlimited everything plan and he doesn't want to leave it if he doesn't have to. If he can get the D3 without having to upgrade by making the insurance claim on his old phone he's going to do it. So basically has anyone recently had an insurance claim on their D2 and if so what phone did you get as a replacement?
