Blue screen when connecting phone?

My dad just got a Droid 2, his first smart phone. He tells me that when ever he connects his phone to either his laptop or his desktop he gets a blue screen. I've never heard of this, and have had no trouble with my Droid X.

Im at a loss for ideas, anyonr experience a similar issue orbjave any suggestions?

factory reset jc what does he have it set to when he plugs it into the computer. it could be a defective phone, sdcard or just a bug in the software but i have not noticed it

I connected my Droid X to his computer and it worked fine. I reinstalled a driver i got from Motorola and his wouldn't blue screen anymore, but it wouldn't connect. Finally just for fun i set it to charge only and it connected and gave sd card access. It wouldn't on mass storage, or pc mode... but for some reason charge only mode worked to access the sd card. Dunno why, but hey, it works at least.
