Hi Guys, I have a question about rebooting the droid 2. When someone says to do a battery pull, do you pull the battery with the power on or must you hold down the power button, power off, then pull the battery?

Is there a difference between pulling the battery without turning off the phone?

Their is almost no reason to do a battery pull on an Android phone. And if you have to do it just pull the battery

unless your device literally freezes up, you wont need to do a battery pull. Android isn't plagued by memory loss like blackberry.

Even if you had to do a battery pull, the power down option is like a Windows shutdown. It is not a standby or hibernate, so all you need to do is power it down and power it back up and you have a bb "battery pulled" rebooted OS.

Or use the keyboard and press alt the up key and delete that will shut your phone down even if the screen locks up
