Droid Maxx: 4.4 No more widgets on lock screen?

I used to be able to swipe & to the left have a couple of screens to put widgets. Am I doing something wrong or are they gone with 4.4?

There are 5 homescreens still on the stock launcher - the center is the default, with two to the left and two to the right. The launcher has not changed at all.

Under your setting, security and lock screen there is a option to enable widgets. They make you enable first before adding them.

He meant the lock screen before you unlock the phone. You can put certain widgets on the lock screen for an easier access.

Yes, I believe so. I see that on my Nexus 5. Is your Maxx still running Jellybean?

No I'm on kit kat. I saw the option but don't notice any difference and I'm using widgets even though the box is not checked.

And you're talking about lockscreen widgets, not homescreen​ widgets?
