    Default microSD card

hi i was wondering if the class of the microSD card matters much. i have a 16GB card right now - not sure what class card it is. but when i try to listen to music stored on it, i get a lot of skipping. not too sure if this is an issue with the phone or the microSD card. anyone have an idea about this?

The classes refer to the write speed on the card (class 2= min of 2Mbps, 4= min 4mbps), but the better the class the better the read speed also. If you compare the write and access times of the card that came with the Droid (I think its a class2) with a class6 card you will notice a huge difference. Especially if transferring data over the usb (e.g. loading music).

As far as your music skipping its hard to say what the cause is. That's something only you can figure out. Could be the phone lagging or sd card or the songs themselves.
