Is DROID Turbo 2 on Nougat Google Daydream VR compatable

Received the Nougat update this morning and it works very well on my DT2. I've noticed thea the Moto Z Force on Nougat is Google Daydream VR compatible. I've also read that the Moto Z Force is the non Verizon version of the DROID Turbo 2. I've tried to load Google VR Services from the Google Play store and received a message saying that my phone is not compatible.

Does anyone know if the DT2 has Google VR Daydream compatibility after Nougat and whether it was or will be included in the future?

I doubt it. The hardware requirements for Daydream are pretty heavy. See Google reveals hardware requirements for Daydream VR | Android Central

Since the DT2 is year-old hardware at the time that Daydream was released, I'm guessing that the hardware requirements are not met by the DT2.
