Using the USB cord that came with Turbo...

Can you use just the cord without the big plug part? I've got a USB connection in my truck and was going to take it with me to charge but wasn't sure if was ok to use without the electric block or even if it would work...?

No reason why it wouldn't work, although it's not going to charge in turbo mode.

It will work. The electric block that you plug into the wall is an inverter. It converts the 110 AC current in your home to the voltage necessary to charge the phone. Either 5v DC normal or 9v/ 12v for the turbo charger. Your vehicle runs on DC current so there is no need for an inverter. So it is safe and will charge, but it is not a turbo charger, it will charge at a normal rate.

Thanks. I assumed it would just charge regular rate if it did at all. Just didn't want to damage it
