Ever since Froyo, I've had problems MMS'ing videos. In another thread, a forum member said to use the QVGA resolution setting and limit length to 1 minute max. That actually worked ... until the 2.3.340 update.
Now, I find any time I turn off the X or do a battery pull, the resolution is automatically reset to HD. So, I have to change the setting every time I want to take a video for MMS use. Worst of all, even at the QVGA resolution and a 30-second length (tried the 1 minute max and that was too much data), I STILL get a message the video is too big to send.
Since the update, I haven't been able to send a video of any length, even with QVGA. What's the secret?
BTW, I'm running the stock camera/video app with Act 1 app as a movie recorder and video player.
