Select text/copy & paste bug

The past couple weeks I have had issues when trying to select text. The "beginning" and "end" cursors do not match up to where my finger is and when I use the "select all" feature to copy/cut, it never actually copies/cuts the text. It takes about 10 tries for it to finally take. Is this a bug from the latest update? Is there a fix for the select text/copy & paste feature?

I found the solution for anyone else having keyboard problems as a result of the last update.

Settings->Applications->Manage Applications->All->Multi-touch keyboard->Clear Data

I have had other keyboard issues in the past and this was the fix as well. Thanks for coming back and posting your solution.
