    Question What kind of speeds do you get in your area?

    So as suggested, I tried out speedtest.net...

    1.07 DL/0.37UL in St. Paul, MN

    Whats everyone else getting? How does this compare?...

    I've always had horrible speeds at work (Renton WA), .984 DL/ .601 UL

    At home (Seattle) I've usually gotten 1.5+ DL/ 1 UL

    Northeast Ohio VZW- .07 mb/s DL, .21 mb/s UL (HORRIBLE!!!!!)

    wifi on 3 mb/s DSL-2.14 mb/s DL, .63 mb/s UL

    in india i get surfing speed of 21mbps and a download speed of 2mbps .. pretty neat eh !!!

    1.5 - 2.0 DL depending on area and 1.0 UP pretty consistently.

    You guys all have a dream compared to what I get. 153kbps down and 378kbps up... Thats the 3g here in N/W Ohio.

    wow...im in N/E Ohio and get way better than that, you must live really far away from a tower. Have you considered changing carriers?!

    I'm not far at all from a tower and no I wont change carriers. I will say those numb ers are from sitting in the house, might be better if I stepped outside.
