My fiance has a motorola droid and she's had a lot of problems with the texting on it using both the stock app and handcent. Originally it was the issue of opening the wrong conversation and sending messages to the wrong contacts. She got a system update a few weeks ago to supposedly fix this but now yesterday it started resending old texts. I think she has advanced task killer and some sort of screen lock to preventing accidental hangups.
Is anyone else still having issues with texting on their droid? Her sister got a droid at the same time. Their phones seem like they're possibly slightly different, possibly different hardware revs. Could it be a hardware issue? She's very seriously considering a new phone as she's sick of the problems she has had with her droid. Any suggestions would be lovely. Thanks very much.
