Xoom 3G MZ602 still honeycomb

Anyone knows if there is an update for my xoom tablet? My friend's xoom wifi tablet has already got the ICS update. There was an announcement that the other xooms will be getting the Jellybeans too!!! When is our update?? Should I root my device?

I believe you are not able to get the ICS update until you send your Xoom to Motorola and get it updated with the 4G radio.

I'm not sure that free upgrade program is still available, but you are for sure going to have to go through it.

I have ICS and I am still have a 3g radio. I was able to force a download by the steps described in another post. It took 3-4 times but it worked.

So how do I force download the update?? Can I still run 3G on a 4G radio? Its LTE right? We dont have that yet in Malaysia... Primitive I know
