Xoom compass

Has anyone used a compass app on their Xoom yet? Google maps seems to point north however the compass shows north pointing west. The app works perfect on my Motorola Droid Pro. Any ideas.

Mine does the same thing. I downloaded a lot of free apps that have compasses and none of them seemed to recognize north. I think most worked the way yours did but at least one thought north was south. This seems like such a simple thing to program for that I almost believe that it is a hardware problem.

Glad to know I am not the only one with the problem, I agree that it must be a software issue, anything that uses the GPS seems to work fine. I guess I will wait for updates.

Same issue here, compass app displays 90 degrees off...points north but it's really west. I tried 2 different apps with same result. My HTC Incredible is good, using the same compass app.
