unlock sim verizon international

I was last week in NY and bought The motor ola xoom. The xoom cames locked by verizon I live in Spain and have an account with other operator. Im only a user, not very sophisticated and Will like to know there is a way ti unlock the xoom?

The xoom's sim card slot is not active and won't be until the 4G upgrade is released. once thats released you'll have to send your xoom in to (verizon/motorola?) and they will put the 4G hardware in it which will activate the sim slot. I don't think you're likely to see any sim unlock hacks until after the 4G upgrade.

You'll also need to see if your local carrier and the Xoom's LTE(gsm?) radio are compatible - this will be quite the hack to be sured.

I believe a GSM Xoom is on the way.

This is the question that I have been asking. I read on one review where they were using a german tmobile sim card. I emailed the reviewer but never got a response back.
