Google Books & Screen Timeout

Ok so I just read a book on the Kindle app and decided to use the Google Books for my next book because I like the split pages. My screen timeout is 30 seconds. The book app times out whereas the kindle app keeps the screen on. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this or a setting I missed? I don't want to keep changing the default timeout every time I read.

Nook app has split pages in landscape. Screen doesn't go out for me

Guess i'll have to use that next time, unless anyone knows a way to take a recently purchased Google book and use it on Nook.. hmmm

I thought the screen turning off while reading a Google book was annoying too. I had the screen time out set to 1 minute. The work around I chose was to increase the screen time out to 5 minutes.

If I'm not in Google book, I just put it to sleep by tapping the power button when I'm setting it down. Not a big deal.

If im right you can make those books available offline so ok guessing the epub file will be downloaded. If its drm free u can move it over to nook app
