Still No 1080p YouTube with Flash 10.3

Updated to 3.1, and re-installed Flash 10.3.

720p YouTube HD is now smooth, but 1080p either doesn't load at all or choppy and unwatchable.

I thought this one comes with hardware acceleration?

My BlackBerry Playbook handles 1080p YouTube flawlessly..

No matter what Adobe does, Flash will still be resource heavy and generally terrible. Youtube will play fine in the Youtube app though since that doesn't utilize Flash. Besides, there's no point in 1080p unless you're outputting to a monitor.

Tegra 2 is very picky about what video it will and won't accelerate, and YouTube's 1080p doesn't seem to be it. At least Flash isn't as slow as it was before. The YouTube app works better now too.

I think Phil called the Tab 10.1 a generation 2 Honeycomb tablet, but that doesn't hold for me until Tegra 2 is replaced with something better (like the OMAP4 chip in the PlayBook).
