Peculiar car Bluetooth issue

When I dial a number from my phone, any music playing stays on I. E. I don't hear ringing. When the party I was dialing answers, the music stops, but I don't hear the first few words, like, 'hello".

Thought about it being the car, but I didn't have this behavior with my Galaxy S5.

Anyone else have similar issues?

You're probably running into Marshmallow's bluetooth "issues." Apparently it's not happening to everyone but it is happening to me. I don't experience the exact same situation. In my case, the call will connect and stay connected for about 2-3 minutes then it will disconnect for 10-20 seconds, then reconnect and repeat that cycle. Maybe someone will post here a way to get around your issue but, if not, we are stuck waiting for a fix.

There is a whole stream of reports in Google's bug reporting system on this.

I have the disconnecting calls issue, mixed with some blue tooth streaming drops. It's marshmallow, not your car. Let's hope the update being pushed this week fixes it. Someone on the Google bug thread said that it did.
