cricket staying in business

I want to switch to Cricket but I noticed some of their stores shutting down where I live. Is it likely that Cricket will be going out of business soon?

I'm currently on a contract plan where we get discount phones from at&t. My sister will be very disappointed if we switch only for it to shut down as we will not be able to get back on our old contract plan again where she currently has grandfathered unlimited data.

As far as I know all Cricket stores are franchises and store closings are probably just the franchisee giving up after not making the money he/she needed to cover their investment. All of the Cricket stores around here seem to be staffed by McDonald's rejects.

Doubtful. AT&T owns Cricket so I don't see them shutting down.
