Battery & Protection?

Whenever I connect my phone to the internet to send an e-mail, my phone will shut off. When I turn it back on, it says it has no battery. However, if I keep it on airplane mode, the battery charges back up to where it was previously. Fix?

Also,
I chat messaged Sprint and they told me that it sounds like a software issue. Which means I would take my phone to the Sprint store and have it replaced (for about the billionth time).
So does anyone know if Sprint is replacing the Epic with the Epic or have they started sending out S2's?

I had the exact same problem but with a different device several months ago. I also took mine into Sprint. Turned out, the problem was the battery. The battery was under warranty and they replaced the battery for free. Did not have another issue since receiving the new battery.
