Rooted Galaxy Ace Wireless Issues

Here's the story. I rooted my Ace, trying to tweak it with the likes of PimpMyRom to improve it's performance. Sadly, in my arrogance and foolishness, I didn't back it up. Now, the Wi-Fi won't turn on, but stays in the state of 'turning on' and the cell data appears connected but when a basic Google search is carried out, it fails to connect to the Internet. I've tried factory resets and whatnot, but nothing. Is there any way to correct it?:'(

Can you flash a new ROM? That should get you booted and back up and running.
